Blue Wind by Alice Popkorn, flickr creative commons I've been inviting the muse to visit me with more creative words and ideas and it arrived with a strong wind this morning. It seems it wanted me to play with alliteration. This came to me as I was gradually waking up.
The wonder-full wind is sweeping through town today
Blowing away stale limiting thoughts and
Bringing in rapturous reflections and
Whimsical Wishes.
The breeze wafts,
Delighting my body
Like a Silk Scarf,
Sliding across my slick hot skin
It’s ‘hung out to dry sheets’ scent conjures up
Happy memories of satiated soul-full lovers
Cuddling under the covers
Wooden wind chimes subtly speak
Their Goddess icons message
Reminding me to remain in the magnificent moment
Eagle soars on the drafts upstream vortex
Higher and Higher until
Ki become dark specks against
The new blue sky
I merge with the wind and join him
Divinely Dancing a sentient duet in an
Ecstatic symphony of the skies
