Feeling Safe in Challenging Situations

It is important to be aware of what energy you are allowing and sending so you can maintain physical vitality, mental clarity, higher vibeing emotions and spiritual connection.  
When I write my Divine You Blogs, I like to focus on highest conscious awareness because what you focus on is what you attract into your reality. 

Yet I want to provide tips to help you live as your divine self, and honour the fact that we do slip into old habits and beliefs that affect our vibrational frequency.  
So today I'm going to offer a tip that you can use if you get caught up in old patterns and programs and feel you need protection from a lower vibration situation.  I'll also remind you of the truth of your Divine Self.  


We are sending out and receiving energy all the time. 
If you are holding on to old programs of limiting beliefs or values which are not your own, if you carry a lot of memories (good or bad) past hurts or embarrassments  or are worried about the future, if your actions are based on what others will think, you are losing energy  

If you let others manipulate you, over influence your decisions or run your life,  OR if you are holding onto grudges and resentments, you are giving them your power.     

It is also important to be aware of where your energy is going, The vibrational frequency you emit affects those around you and ultimately the whole world.  If you are highly energetically aware, (my term for highly sensitive) you know this, because before learning to manage this trait, you may have been buffeted by the energy of whatever human or natural chaos and catastrophes were occurring in the moment. 

Remember: Whatever frequency you vibrate at, you will attract a matching frequency. 

That is why when you are living in joy and contentment, you are in the flow and attract more of that high vibeing energy.  Life is sweet, wonderful synchronicities happen, you attract an abundance of good things.  Lower frequencies are not a vibrational match, so they pass right thru your field, without magnetizing themselves to your circumstances.  

However, If you are like most people who are learning to manage their thoughts emotions and energy, you have periods of time when you are off centre.  You get caught up in the daily stresses and forget how easily you can choose to shift your perspective and energy back to happy well-being.

You may temporarily return to an old belief that you are at risk; forgetting that you have the knowledge and ability to make a different choice.  You buy into the belief that a situation or person has the ability to throw you off. You give away your power, or engage in a power struggle with them.  No matter what you do, you return to fear, overwhelm and anxiety.  

Thats OK. It happens and you can take care of yourself from that space. Here is a tool you can use to cope with that situation and shift your energy 

  • Begin by taking a deep breath and surrounding yourself with a beautiful energy.  You may wish to feel it enter you thru your heart or crown then expand out around you. 
  • Imagine you are in an egg of shimmering high vibration light which could be pink, representing the energy of unconditional love, or it could be divine white light, whichever you prefer.  This will act as a shield and unwanted energy will bounce off it. I suggest that you make it semi-permeable, so you can consciously release low vibration or accept high vibeing energy from your angels and guides 
  • From this place of safety, connect deeply with the light, open and expand your heart, observe yourself and the person/situation and Consciously send high vibrational energy of love and light to the person or situation.  Its amazing what shifts can occur.  

 Remember, you will no longer need this exercise when you sustain higher conscious vibration because you will not attract lower vibration energy.   When you are living as your divine self, you know you create your own reality and can choose  joy filled well-being in any moment no matter what is going on around you

Caring for your Best Friend

Often in the midst of uncommon or uncertain situations it is tempting to keep busy.  To look for activities to keep the mind busy.... to follow a to do list.  

This can be used to avoid fear or feeling powerful emotions.  

It gives you a feeling of purpose when you feel it might be inappropriate to slip into your daily routine. 
Instead of checking in and seeing what you really need to do to take care of yourself and honouring that, it gives you an excuse to keep going - to appear strong.  

It goes against being your divine self.  

When you find yourself turning away from you, here is a tip I have found works well.  

Ask yourself:
"If my best friend was experiencing this, what would I do for her?"   

Then be still. Imagine something that puts you in a space of the highest frequency of unconditional love and acceptance and go within. Feel that love and see the light of your expanded field. 
See what ideas come.  
  • You might imagine running her a bath in a room full of candles and a fluffy towel followed by a restful nap.
  • Heating her up a cup of hot full bodied soup.
  • Playing her favorite to music and suggesting she allow it to take her to wonderful places.
  • Dancing together, Moving your bodies to music, singing, going for a walk
  • Suggesting she just Be Still and allow all of her thoughts and emotions to emerge. 
  • Suggesting she Ask her angels, guides, saints to hold her as she experiences her feelings.   
See which idea feels best and be your bff, lovingly treating your divine you. 

As a best friend, sometimes we know that we need to be physically present and provide hugs, accompany our friend on a walk, to run errands with them, to just be there quietly.   

  • If you are being your own best friend, it can be challenging to reach out and call someone to be with you when you are in the midst of uncertainty, but take a deep breath and make the effort.  
  • I know I feel honoured that someone considers me enough of a friend to reach out to me when they need some love and support and I want to be there for them.  You are actually doing someone a favor by allowing them to be there for you. 
  • Personally when I need a friend, I have often found by setting the intention, my like minded friends who I am connected energetically to somehow know to pick up the phone and offer. The universe always provides.  

Uncertain or unpredicatable situations are great opportunities to perceive something in a new way and choose actions that acknowlege the amazing potential in that 
Another way to take care of you is to be aware of your own magnificent divinity, and connect with your deep wild core (that for me is located behind my 2nd and 3rd chakra, in front of my spine).  
  • Breathe into that place and feel your radiant marvelous beingness expand beyond your physicality, as your field becomes bigger than your dwelling place, your city, country, as big as our holy mother earth. 
  •  Connect with All living things on the earth, and everything that is energy.  Feel your Oneness with it all, and with the universe and multiverse.  Bask in the splendor and abundance of it all.  
  • Dwell in the Allness of Creation and vibrate as you become it all.  Hear the music of the spheres, see the amazing colours that have been newly created and immerse yourself allowing it to integrate into your soul.  
  • Ask your divine self for any messages or gifts to guide you in the uncertain times.  You may wish to ask for clear guidance that as my friend, herbal expert Joy Bothwick says, is kindergarten simple.  


 Uncertain times and uncommon events are a part of life.  We can choose to respond in healthy ways that honour our divine nature and enhance our lives.  What are your favorite ways to deal with the waves of life?

Do you feel out of the flow? Tips to get you re-aligned

Divine Living Tips - Realignment

If you feel ‘off’– out of the flow, physically, mentally, emotionally spiritually, you may be in the process of realignment.  

This may happen because of where you are on your spiritual journey, because of earth or cosmic cycles and or because of a shift in human collective consciousness.  


We are currently experiencing much power and energy coming in as a result of 3 months of supermoons, intense solar flares and the autumn equinox which happens at 7:29pm PDT this Monday Sept 22 (02:29 UTC Tuesday).  In addition many people have been meditating and praying for peace and harmony, and this Sunday is also the international Peace Day, so the intention for a shift to higher consciousness is high. 

How do you manage realignment? 

  • Relax and just BE.  
  • Accept that you are feeling off and know it will pass. 
  • Choose to be in the present moment and feel yourself harmoniously aligned with the newest higher omniversal frequencies.  
  • Each time you shift into higher conscious dimensions you might have a period of getting used to the new frequencies.  You plateau, live in that space for a while then shift again, each time moving into higher frequencies. 
  • Enjoy the new perspective, the wisdom that come from new knowledge and the ability to access higher vibrations and preferred realities .

Shift Your Perspective and Look For Fun

My beloved friend and wise woman Dorothy West of The Happiness Company once suggested that when I find myself encountering a situation where I feel dispirited I should ask myself the following question. "What can I do that would make this fun"?

This is a great question to shift your perspective. 

I came across a great blog this week which gave me a super image to tie this question  to. Glennon Doyle Melton shared how she puts on her perspectacles to see a situation in a new light.
When you are choosing to live a divine life, these are fabulous tools to have in your designer bag.

Here are a couple more.
  • When you wake up in the morning take a few moments to create your preferred reality for the day. Include the intention to smile a lot
.
  • As you go about your day look for things that will make you smile and feel connected to the world around you. there is always a happy and often a humorous perspective that can be found in any situation.
               
            I smile when I see a child intently fascinated by something on the ground that has captured their attention. 

            I smile and my heart expands as I drive by gardens with flowers blooming in multi colours and I notice how bright and enhanced all of the colours are when I choose to see them as divine creations.

            I smile when I see the wind blowing through the leaves when moments before it all been calm. I know the divine sentient beings of nature are giving me a sign to be particularly aware of the events or messages that are present in that moment.


I can wonder what would make a moment fun if for some unusual reason I am in a hurry (having forgotten that I can play with time) and someone is being very slow in the line ahead.  The ideas that pop are sure to bring a smile to my face.

And when I visit my 95 yr old father in his care facility, and see him tired and worn by increasingly frequent phantom pain in both his amputated legs, lifting his shoulders to breathe, and becoming more forgetful with each visit, I can find a reason to smile and share fun stories. He carries on with an amazing positive attitude that takes it in stride with no fuss.  I smile when I hold his hands and look deeply into his divine soul and know the joy of expressing our love for each other and the opportunity of being together in a loving moment. I am so grateful because until he went into a care facility we so rarely shared that verbally. That smile stays on my face and in my expanded heart for a long time.
