Have you ever felt like you were grasping at something, trying to make it happen? I know I have. I still catch myself there at times.
When desire is strong, it can point us in the direction we want to go. There’s no need to go deep sea diving searching for our treasure! When we follow the flow of the buoyancy of our true nature, those treasures float to the surface. In full awareness, we turn and that desired treasure sparkles catching our eye or heart. Or both.
Sometimes it might not be in the exact shape of what we are seeking, but in the form of an art class, connection, or workshop. The alignment is simple, you just know. There’s no T-chart of pros and cons to make, journaling about alignment, or pendulum to toss. You just know. It certainly may not seem logical or make any sense in the moment. It could be easy to let your brain talk you out of it, but if you turn your thoughts off and follow the feeling, you sign up for that workshop or choose in a flash. You don’t let the cost stop you in your tracks, you just know to sign up, turn right, talk to a stranger, drive a different route, take singing lessons.
It’s almost as if it isn’t really a choice but simply a subtle knowing.
It may not be until tomorrow, weeks later, or even years before you see the impact of following that particular alignment, but the moment you choose it, or step out of the way to let it choose you, casting fears aside, you stop trying to “make it happen.” Instead, you dance with ease and grace, “living in connected flow.”
WAIT! That sounds like a fairy tale ending. Can it be that easy? What about those fears!? They too floated back to the surface and seem more like a shark out of a scene from the movie “Jaws.”
Ah those fears, yes, they may still appear to loom large, and it is possible to dance with them, under them, and through them. Smile at them as you maintain your grace. They are about as real as that shark from the movie scene. Our imagination is powerful. And should you feel like you stumble, step again into your stream of connected flow trusting the alignment of your true nature.
