There are times. . .
my outer world feels like
everything has come to a standstill.
Nothing appears to be happening
despite the racing of my mind
in search of something to do
to give itself credence
in a world that’s gone amuck
in pretenses that make no sense.
Meanwhile. . .
my inner sanctum is bubbling
in answer to the quickening
call of the Divine,
and my Creator Self is cooking up
a delicious spicy stew
to be stirred and savored
with the essences of Love and Joy
with each expansion of Consciousness.
When I dip my spoon
into the cauldron of my heart
and raise it to my lips,
it brings sublime nourishment
and courage to express anew
that which others fail to notice
in a world of busyness
that has rendered a pause,
awaiting new creations.
Thus, my BeLoveds,
Tend the bubbling of your heart
and serve up your bowls of Love and Joy
to those who are in need
of the nourishment
of the Divine.
