Take action: Quick Mindfulness meditation
Look at something that catches your eye and see, touch, hear, smell and if appropriate taste it Notice if it brings up any emotions. What is awesome about it? It may be something subtle, or it may call out. Look at me, hear me, touch me, feel me. You are discerning what makes it different from everything else. You may want to play and discern what makes it one with everything.
What is Discernment
Discernment means having knowledge and keen perception. It involves having and showing good judgment and understanding. It means having the ability to notice objective differences among people objects and activities. The ability to discern is necessary to make decisions. Divine Discernment means in part, discerning from a higher conscious vibration, where you have clarity and connection with your highest self and Source. It ensures that everyone is valued and that everyone has different talents and abilities. It allows you to make wise decisions that have positive outcomes for everyone involved.
Benefits of Discernment.
Discernment is an excellent tool for creating focus. It calms monkey mind. It allows you to see the subtleties in situations, peoples behaviours, the quality of items. It often brings insight and helps you choose your next best action. That may be to Do or to BE.
The following video explains divinely discerning action taking in more detail and tells you how to get into a place where you are able to discern with clarity.
I was listening to Kirtana, one of my favorite chanteuses today and the words of her song "Mundaka" derived from the Upanishads, the ancient Sanscrit Vedas that are "summits of thought on mankind and the universe, designed to push human ideas to their very limit and beyond. They give us both spiritual vision and philosophical argument" [1]
Kirtana describes the Consciousness you encounter when you go into the higher state where you can practice divine discernment. My skin always raises in godbumps and my spine tingles when I hear this song.
....Eyes can not see, nor speech describe me.
Not be reason nor by effort am I known.
Not by ritual, nor by merit,
but by the grace of the Self, the Self is shown.
Next she describes the conditions Consciousness needs to connect with you and what you need to do to gain that consciousness. This state is where you need to be to be able to discern wisely.
Pure and resplendent,
I shine in a mind that is calm,
when the knots of the heart are loosed
and the senses are withdrawn.
With consciousness as your arrow,
and meditation as your bow,
make me your target;
pull back your mind
and let if fly home
Free your mind of sense distraction.
Inattachment to action desires bind.
The following description of Source Consciousness in her song fans the divine flame within me. This doesn't really relate to discernment, but I am being called to share it none the less.
I am life. I am speech. I am mind.
I am immortality.
Everything that moves or breathes
or blinks has its being in me.
In your inmost heart I dwell -
that is my citadel.
There is no space I do not fill.
Through my light all these others shine.
...... Within everything, without everything - unborn.
I am even beyond the tendency to take form.
And the final benefit of connection is.... oneness and enlightenment.
Just as rivers running to the sea
lose their individuality,
so the enlightened merge with me,
no longer bound by name or form.
So I invite you to connect with Source and use Divine Discernment to determine your next best action in each and every now moment.

By the way, my apologies. I couldn't believe its been months since I wrote a blog post here. I've been connecting with your essence when posting on my Divine U Facebook page and Gina-Dianne Harding_author page rather than this blog. I found myself focusing on learning how to make videos when I did a 30 day video challenge in March on Facebook. I've also been writing a metaphysical, spiritual fantasy. I'm loving the process. So I'll be including videos in my upcoming posts. If you want to read excerpts from my first draft of my book in progress like my Gina-Dianne Harding Author page on Facebook.
